Sunday will be mostly cloudy with a high between 28 and 30 degrees.
Then, March will indeed be coming in like a lion as snow is likely late in the afternoon, mainly after 5 p.m. It is likely to continue until around 4 a.m., followed by a chance of snow showers and freezing rain.
Central and southern Westchester are expected to see 2 to 3 inches of total accumulation with 3 to 4 inches likely in northern Westchester before the system winds down around 7 a.m. Monday.
The outlook for Monday calls for a slight chance of light snow through 10 a.m., followed by gradual clearing with the high temperature climbing to between 35 and 37 degrees.
