Weekend Storm Could Bring Snow To Armonk

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- 2015 will start off sunny and chilly, but the first weekend of the new year in Westchester could be a snowy one, according to the National Weather Service.

Temperatures will be in the mid-30s on New Year's Day with westerly winds at 9 to 17 mph.

Snow could threaten the area on Saturday, mainly in the afternoon and evening. Rain and snow become more likely overnight with an 80 percent chance of precipitation.

Wet weather could linger in the area on Sunday, but temperatures will be in the mid 40s.
