Along the coast, the National Weather Service issued a coastal flood advisory from 8 p.m. Friday through 1 a.m. Saturday, particularly around high tide, around 8 p.m. Residents along the coast should expect tides to be at least one to two feet above normal.
Flash flooding is also a possibility, particularly in urban areas and poor drainage areas. The National Weather Service has a continued flash flood watch through Saturday afternoon.
Between two to four inches of rain are expected to fall during this storm and will likely continue through at least Monday, although Sunday is forecast to see less rain.
The rain should begin to slow Saturday afternoon into Sunday morning. On Sunday, the rain might stop completely, but there is still a chance of rain in the forecast.
