New Round Of Snow Headed To Armonk

Don't let Wednesday's warmer temperatures fool you -- a blast of chilly air is expected to lead to a quick-hitting snow event moving into the area on the heels of gusty winds, according to the National Weather Service.

The front, expected to move into the Hudson Valley later Thursday, will bring a chance of light snow after 3 p.m. along with wind chill values between 15 and 25 degrees, with winds gusting as high as 26 mph.

Snow is more likely Thursday night, especially after 10 p.m. with a 50 percent chance predicted. 

Snow could continue into Friday morning with a 30 percent chance before 11 a.m.

Accumulation of up to 2 inches is possible.

Dry weather returns Friday night and continues into the weekend with highs forecast to remain cold in the upper 20s to low 30s.
