Anytime from Monday evening into Tuesday afternoon/evening will remain at risk for wintry weather disrupting travel, says the report.
Icy conditions are expected from midnight to 6 a.m. in coastal areas and from midnight through 9 a.m. in inland areas.
While there is no expectation of snow or sleet accumulating across the region, it is possible to see a "relatively minimal" amount of sleet accumulations.
Coastal regions will be less likely to have accumulations of sleet, however it is possible those areas could see up to a half-inch.
The sleet conditions will remain longer in inland areas as the warm air passing through could take an hour or more to extend there.
The sleet conditions could lead to 2 or 3 more hours of freezing rain with light or moderate ice accumulations possible.
