Heavy Rain, Storms Headed To Hudson Valley

A storm system bringing scattered showers and thunderstorms will move through the area Wednesday bringing rain that could be heavy at times.

The storm chance starts after noon, with the likelihood increasing in the late afternoon and evening. (See projected radar image for 4 p.m. Wednesday above.)

It will be another warm, partly sunny and humid day with a high temperature in the mid-80s.

Scattered showers and thunderstorms are likely through midnight.

Thursday will similar to Wednesday, with partly sunny skies, a high around 85 and a chance of afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms.
