Current tracking is uncertain since the system is a few days away, so the type of precipitation expected and any accumulation is unknown at this point.
For the moment, forecasts are showing a 60 percent chance of rain Tuesday night through Wednesday morning.
The system clears out Wednesday night, dropping overnight temperatures into the high 20s and putting Thursday's daytime high in the low 40s. It's expected to be mostly sunny, however.
Daytime temperatures will stay warmer than normal as highs will be in the 50s through Wednesday, with evening temperatures ranging from the mid-30s to low 40s through Wednesday.
Another storm system due to arrive Thursday night could bring snow to the area Thursday night into Friday.
