The colder air, moving in from northern Canada, will hit the area Friday afternoon with the coldest air moving through Saturday morning on the back of blustery winds of 13 to 21 mph, Accuweather.com said.

The bitter cold wind chills will affect the area Friday night.

Luckily, sunny skies will accompany the cold weather on Saturday as temperatures are predicted to run 5 to 10 degrees below the average, climbing only into the mid 40s.

However, the cold blast won't be around for long. Winds will shift on Sunday allowing for milder, more seasonable temperatures to move back in for the end of the weekend, according to the National Weather Service.
