Temperatures falling below freezing Thursday night through the early morning Friday will result in the refreezing of melting of snow, the National Weather Service said.
This will create black ice and icy conditions on any untreated roadways, especially secondary roadways. Motorists are urged to use extra caution and travel more slowly.
The overnight low will be around 30 degrees.
Temps will climb to the mid-40s Friday under mostly cloudy skies with a chance of showers after noon. Wind-chill values between 25 and 35 early.
