But there could be one -- or even two -- more rounds of intermittent snow before it moves out.
There first chance of flurries or snow showers will last through roughly 3 a.m. Thursday. Overnight lows will be around 20 with bitterly cold wind-chill values between 10 and 15 degrees.
The second chance for snow showers will come during the day Thursday, which will be mostly cloudy with a high only around 28 and wind chills making it feel more like 15.
The outlook for Friday calls for mostly cloudy skies with temperatures in the mid 20s.
Temperatures will plummet over the weekend with overnight lows Saturday night expected to be in the negative digits.
Wind chills will be below zero throughout Saturday evening and could be as low as 15 to 20 degrees below zero around daybreak on Sunday.
