The line extends from near Suffern and s expected to arrive in Westchester, especially central and southern Westchester, before 7 p.m. and in Northern Westchester, Putnam and Dutchess shortly thereafter.
Heavy rain, thunder and small hail can be expected.
Showers are likely through 10 p.m. Wednesday.
There will be a chance of rain and showers Thursday, mainly early in the afternoon. Some of the storms could produce small hail and gusty winds.
The rest of the day will be partly sunny with a high in the low 60s.
