Temperatures Monday, Feb. 22, will remain in the low- to mid-40s, with a few clouds sprinkled here and there.

But after 3 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 23, it will be mostly cloudy, and temps will drop to a high in the mid 30s, the National Weather Service said.

The chance of wintery precipitation is around 40 percent, so expect rain, snow and sleet before 9 p.m. It will change back to rain after 3 a.m. Wednesday morning, forecasters said.

Accumulations of snow and sleet are expected to be less than half an inch to 2 inches in spots farther north.

However, it will pour buckets on Wednesday, Feb. 24, and into Thursday morning, Feb. 25, with temps rising to around 53, the National Weather Service said.
