Armonk Will See Rainy Start To Workweek

The workweek will start with a new round of wet weather as a storm system approaches the region, according to the National Weather Service.

Showers will threaten throughout the day as clouds linger. High temperatures are expected to hit around 55 degrees, according to the Weather Service.

By Monday night, temperatures will drop slightly as the chance of rain begins to increase, according to the forecast.

By Tuesday, weather conditions are expected to worsen considerably as the chance of rain rises to 90 percent. As much as a half-inch of rain is possible over most areas, according to the Weather Service.

The wet weather will continue into the night with snow flurries potentially joining the spring showers early Wednesday morning, according to the forecast.

By sunrise Wednesday, the skies are expected to clear, beginning a string of mostly sunny days that should carry through to the end of the week. High temperatures Wednesday are expected to hit the lower 50s, according to forecasters.

Temperatures will continue to rise throughout the week, reaching the low 60s by Sunday, according to the Weather Service.
