Armonk Could See Overnight Snow After A Warm Sunday

With temperatures soaring into the low 60s on Saturday, many parts of the area saw record warmth, including Poughkeepsie, which recorded a high of 63.

Sunday will also see more spring-like temperatures before a chance of snow returns for much of the region overnight.

Sunday with be a partly sunny day with a high between 51 and 53 degrees. 

There is a slight chance of rain after 3 p.m. and up until midnight, followed by a chance of rain and snow throughout most of the Hudson Valley area. 

Points farther north, including Putnam and Dutchess, could see half an inch of accumulation before daybreak.

Precipitation south of I-287 is expected to be mainly rain.

Monday will start out mostly cloudy before the sun breaks through later in the morning. Highs will be in the low to mid 40s.

After a partly sunny day Tuesday, snow, freezing rain and sleet are likely overnight, but precipitation should change to rain by daybreak as temperatures rise above freezing.
