According to the National Weather Service, more white stuff is likely Saturday -- mainly after 8 a.m. -- and 1-3 inches of accumulation is possible.

Saturday daytime temperatures will struggle to hit 40, they say.

Snow showers could continue into Saturday night as temperatures drop to around 25.

This afternoon (Thursday, April 7), make sure you take your umbrella with you if you’re heading outdoors.

Forecasters see a possible thunderstorm between noon and 3 p.m., and more showers afterwards. No flooding likely, but rainfall amounts could range from a half to three-quarters of an inch, the National Weather Service said.

Temperatures today will reach a high near 60.

Since April showers bring May flowers, next month should be a gardener’s delight.

More rain is predicted for a mostly cloudy Friday as daytime highs near 49. Friday night will be mostly cloudy, and temperatures will drop to the low 30s.

The sun will return Sunday and it should warm up to around 44. Sunday night will be mostly cloudy with lows around 34, forecasters say.

More rain is coming Monday and Tuesday, but temperatures will be more seasonable, with a high of 54 Monday during the day, and near 60 on Tuesday.

The region shakes off the wintry blahs on Wednesday, forecasters say, as the sun banishes rain clouds and temperatures reach 55.
