1-2 Inches Of Snow Possible In Westchester County

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Snow is expected to start falling in Westchester County after noon on Saturday with 1-2 inches possible in some parts of the county before the storm subsides late in the evening.

Southern Westchester is expected to see about a half inch to 1 inch of accumulation.

Snow should overspread the area in the afternoon before mixing with sleet and freezing rain, according to the weather service.

Slippery driving and walking conditions are likely.

A changeover to all rain is expected after 8 p.m.

Showers will continue throughout the day Sunday, with a possibly a thunderstorm, and a high around 55 degrees.
