Stop-And-Go Delays On I-287, Hutch; Crash Blocks Lane On Route 9A

Several crashes caused heavy delays during the Friday afternoon commute in Westchester.

A 4:15 p.m. crash on westbound I-287 initially blocked the right lane, causing stop-and-go delays from the I-684 (Exit 9A) interchange to Route 120A (Bowman Avenue).

Farther north, a crash reported just before 4 p.m. took out the right lane on Route 9A at Route 133 on the Croton/Ossining border with traffic backed up to Route 9.

There were also stop-and-go delays on the Hutchinson River Parkway after a crash on the northbound side at Weaver Street in Scarsdale (Exit 20) with backups to Webster Avenue (Exit 16).

Farther south, a 5:15 p.m. crash took out two lanes on the northbound Henry Hudson Parkway.
