Detours will be posted for drivers to follow at each ramp during the anticipated work hours of 10 p.m. to 5:30 a.m., state Department of Transportation officials said.
The scheduled ramp closures are anticipated as follows:
- Wednesday, Nov. 8, I-84 eastbound Exit 20S (I-684 South) and westbound Exit 20 (I-684 South) is expected to close at 10 p.m. and reopen on Thursday, Nov. 9 at 5:30 a.m.
- Thursday, Nov. 9, I-84 eastbound Exit 20N (Route 22 North) and I-684 northbound Exit 9W (I-84 West) are expected to close at 10 p.m. and reopen on Friday, Nov. 10. at 5:30 a.m.
- Friday, Nov. 10, I-684 southbound Exits 9E (I-84 East) and 9W (I-84 West) are expected to close at 10 p.m. and reopen on Saturday, Nov. 11 at 5:30 a.m.
Drivers are asked to use caution when traveling through the work zone area and pay particular attention to all traffic control devices, including signs and flaggers.
Motorists are reminded that fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone.
