New Ramp Closure Scheduled For Saw Mill Parkway

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. - Motorists traveling on the Saw Mill River Parkway may need to plan a detour next week as a ramp closure is planned in Yonkers.

Exit 3 (Lockwood Avenue) will be closed on the Saw Mill River Parkway in Yonkers.

The New York State Department of Transportation issued an alert advising that from 10 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 16, Exit 6 (Lockwood Avenue) will be closed as contracting crews perform maintenance work in the area.

The ramp is expected to be closed until approximately 5 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 20.

Detours will be posted to avoid confusion for motorists. Drivers have been asked to use extra caution while traveling near the work zone and to pay attention to posted signage and flaggers directing traffic.
