Missing Man Found Dead A 53-year-old missing Fairfield County man has been found dead by police. Todd Davies, 53, of Wilton, who was reported missing on Wednesday, Jan. 8, was found dead on Thursday, Jan. 9, said Wilton Police Capt. Robert Cipolla. Cipolla said Davies was found dead around 10 a.m. but did not offer where he was located.  The Wilton Police Department with the assistance of the Wilton Fire Department, Wilton CERT, and neighboring law enforcement and fire agencies had been working to located Davies since he was reported missing, Cipolla said. Quick Work Of Firefighters Saves Northern Westchester Home Quick action by firefighters from the Vista and South Salem fire departments saved a family's home following a basement fire. The fire started around 8:15 p.m. Tuesday at 87 East St., in South Salem, according to Vista Fire Chief Jeff Peck.  Once on scene, firefighters found smoke showing from inside the home and quickly determined the fire was coming from the basement. After running hoses, firefighters were able to knock down the fire within minutes, Peck said.
