A $95 million development will replace a parking lot across from a busy office building in the heart of Westchester County's I-287 corridor. The Westchester County Industrial Development Agency (IDA) approved measures to provide financial incentives for the complex that would be constructed at 1133 Westchester Ave. in White Plains. The Westchester County Industrial Development Agency is considering granting a series of incentives for three large-scale projects throughout Downtown White Plains that would result in more than $1.2 billion in new developments, as discussed on Friday, March 29. Avon Products Inc. announced it is laying off about 100 employees in its Rye data center, closing the rest of the Rye operations over the next year and consolidating U.S. operations in Suffern. The finishing touches are being put on the new Danone company building in White Plains, and next month some 400 employees will be moving from their current Greenburgh location to the new digs.
