Members of the New Rochelle Police Department received a report shortly before 6 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 28 from a woman who said that her elderly mother, who suffers from dementia, had left their home and gone missing. A 95-year-old fire station is getting a long-awaited facelift in Westchester. Renovations at Fire Station 2 on Webster Avenue in New Rochelle have begun, marking the first upgrade for the building - which was constructed in 1923 -since the 1980s.
