Woman Walks In On Burglar Inside North Castle Home, Police Say Police are investigating an attempted burglary in North White Plains when a woman walked in and saw a middle-aged man in her home, investigators said. The North Castle Police Department received a report of an unknown man who entered a Washington Avenue home shortly after 10:45 p.m. on Monday, March 19 without the permission of the homeowners. According to police, the woman described the suspect as a white male in his 40s, who was balding with a clean shave.
