A 23-year-old man will spend more than a decade in prison after admitting to shooting and killing another during an argument in the Hudson Valley, authorities announced. Mount Vernon resident Jonathan Jeanty has been sentenced to 15 years in prison after pleading guilty to first-degree manslaughter, a violent felony, for the 2020 shooting of a Yonkers man. 22-Year-Old Admits To Fatal Shooting Of Westchester Man
A 22-year-old man has pleaded guilty to manslaughter in the shooting death of a Westchester County man. Johnathan Jeanty, of Mount Vernon, pleaded guilty to the first-degree felony charge on Wednesday, Sept. 15, according to Westchester County District Attorney Miriam Rocah. Rocah said Jeanty fatally shot 24-year-old Tremell Robinson, of Yonkers, at about 1 a.m. on April 12. Westchester Man, 21, Indicted For Murder
A Westchester man has been charged with murder for a fatal Easter shooting that killed a 24-year-old. Jonathan Jeanty, 21, was indicted by a Westchester County Grand Jury for firing the handgun that killed fellow Mount Vernon resident Tremell Robinson. Westchester County District Attorney Anthony Scarpino, Jr. said that on Easter Sunday, April 12, Jeanty fired a handgun that struck and killed Robinson in Mount Vernon.
