James L. Perkins of Port Chester, 83, Devoted Family Man, Greenwich Firefighter, Electrician James Lewis Perkins, 83, born to Frederick and Charlotte Lewis Perkins of Port Chester, died on Tuesday, Nov. 12  in Fort Pierce, Florida. He graduated from Port Chester High School in 1954 and married the former Dorothy Rennie in 1957. They were married for many years and have four daughters, eight grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. Jim became an electrician in 1960 after completing a five-year apprenticeship and was employed by the Port Chester Electric Company. Worker Demoted For Taking Photos Of Murder Victim From Westchester, Crime Scene A Town of Greenwich employee who admitted to taking photos of murder victim Valerie Reyes of Westchester and of the crime scene has been demoted.  Reyes body was found stuffed inside a red suitcase around 8 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 5, in a wood area of Greenwich by Public Works employees.  The employee who took the photos and circulated them to some will be demoted from his position as foreman of the Department of Public Works for six months, suspended without pay for five days, and give up five vacation days, according to the Greenwich First Selectman's Office, which did not name th…
