Northern Westchester Man Steals Antique Gun From Event In Hudson Valley, Police Say
A Northern Westchester man faces larceny charges after allegedly stealing an antique firearm from a military expo event in the Hudson Valley, police said. The arrest stemmed from an incident in Putnam County on Saturday, April 22 around 2:30 p.m., when a sheriff's deputy was sent to the Patterson Recreation Center at 65 Front St. for a larceny complaint. Hudson Valley Man Charged With Bringing Drugs Into Prison During Visit: Police
A Hudson Valley man is charged with trying to sneak illegal substances into a prison during a visit, police said. On Monday, Oct. 31, 32-year-old Rockland County resident Joseph Garguilo III of Clarkstown brought a controlled substance into the Putnam County Correctional Facility in Carmel during a visit, according to Putnam County Sheriff Kevin McConville. Two Charged With Selling Alcohol To Minors In New Area State Police Detail
Two individuals have been charged with selling alcohol to minors after police say they conducted a detail of local businesses. New York State Police say they conducted plainclothes checks of 14 retail locations throughout Putnam County that sell alcohol to ensure compliance with state Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) Law on Friday, Sept. 13.
