Sidewalk Work To Block Entrance To Town Hall, Library In Northern Westchester The entrance to a town hall and library in Northern Westchester will be blocked for a few days as crews work to replace sidewalks in the area, officials announced.  In an announcement on Tuesday, Aug. 13, Mount Kisco village officials said the entrance to the town hall and Henry V. Kensing Memorial Library parking lot off of Main Street (Route 117) would be closed intermittently as crews work to replace the sidewalk in front. The incident took place in Greenwich on Monday, June 5 after 8 a.m., following a Pride celebration at Town Hall by local government officials and dignitaries on Sunday, June 4. Farmer's Market Approved For Town Hall Parking Lot In Westchester Have a green thumb? Lawmakers in Greenburgh have approved a new resolution that will bring a weekly farmer’s market to the heart of the town, right in the parking lot of the Town Hall. Greenburgh Town Supervisor Paul Feiner said that from 2 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on every Thursday between Aug. 5 and Oct. 28. Feiner noted that Greenburgh was the first community in Westchester to have a farmer’s market - on East Hartsdale near the Hartsdale train station - which began more than 30 years ago.
