Iconic Newsman Pablo Guzman Dies In Westchester: 'Was Real Deal' Veteran journalist Pablo Guzman, who became well-known and well-loved among New Yorkers over his decades on the air with several outlets, has died, according to a report by CBS News.  Guzman, who spent nearly three decades with CBS New York after joining in 1995, died on Sunday morning, Nov. 26 at the age of 73, in Westchester. Westchester Musician Is 'Unscathed' With New CD George Mallas, a North Salem resident, unveiled his new cd "unscathed" at a release party earlier this month. The January 5th event, at The Heights at Brother Vic's in South Salem, also featured the music of other area musicians including David Powers, who produced the album at Starr Ridge Studios in Brewster.
