Update: 17-Year-Old Nabbed In Attempted Armed Robbery Of Screaming Victim In Westchester An investigation into an attempted armed robbery in Westchester has resulted in the arrest of a 17-year-old boy, police announced.  The teenager, whose name was not released because of his age, was arrested on Thursday, Oct. 17 in connection with the incident, which happened in New Rochelle on Wednesday, Oct. 9, New Rochelle Police Captain J. Know This Car? Suspect At Large After 16-Year-Old Shot While Playing Basketball Police are searching for a vehicle involved in the shooting of a 16-year-old teen who was shot once while playing basketball. The incident took around 7 p.m. Tuesday on Woodend Road in Stratford when the teen was hit by a bullet in what appears to be a drive-by shooting, said Stratford Police Capt. Frank Eannotti.  The lone shooting victim was shot by someone in what appears to be a silver car, possibly a Honda, with a distinctive black front bumper, Eannotti said.
