This Westchester School District Ranks In Top 15 In America, New Report Says A school district in Westchester has been recognized as one of the best in the entire country, according to new rankings.  The Scarsdale Union Free School District has placed No. 11 in America, according to Niche's new 2023 rankings of the top school districts in the country.  According to Niche, the organization uses "a series of steps to ensure statistical rigor and useful guidance in the school choice experience," according to its website. Here's Where Westchester School Districts Rank Among Best In State Westchester is home to some of the finest school districts in the Empire State according to newly released rankings. A newly released study from Niche.com determined the best school districts for 2020 by analyzing the “key statistics and millions of reviews from students and parents” using data from the U.S. Department of Education. Among the statistics that came into factor the rankings include state test scores, graduation rates, SAT/ACT scores, teacher quality, public school district ratings, and others, which were on a weighted scale.
