Woman Rescued After Falling Between Train, Platform At Station In Fairfield County A woman received minor injuries after falling between an MTA train and the platform in Fairfield County. The incident took place in Stamford around 8:10 pm., Tuesday, July 5 at the Springdale Train Station.  Upon realizing what happened, the Metro-North conductor and engineer quickly de-energized and secured the train in order to allow for safe patient access to first arriving first responders, said Tom Gloersen, of the Stamford Fire Department. IDs Released For Two Killed In Long Island Sound Boating Accident State officials have released the identities of two men killed in a boating accident off the coast of Fairfield County. The men have been identified as Cristofer Cifuentes, age 26, and Ludyn Cifuentes, age 41, both of New York City, said Will Healy, spokesman for the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection. Woman Seriously Injured After Being Run Over By Her Own SUV In Stamford An investigation is underway after a local woman was seriously injured when her SUV rolled over her in a busy Stamford parking lot. The initial investigation revealed that Anne Wade, a 54-year-old Stamford resident, was entering her vehicle, which was parked in the lot at 15 High Ridge Rd., Stamford Police said.  According to witnesses, Wade was having problems releasing her emergency brake before she exited her vehicle and was then somehow able to get the brake released, according to police.
