Ambron grew up in the Bronx, and he graduated from Sacred Heart High School in Yonkers. He went on to earn degrees from Manhattan College and Iona College, his obituary said. Services Scheduled For Beloved Westchester Pizzeria Owner Killed In Crash Memorial services have been scheduled for the beloved owner of an iconic pizzeria in Westchester who was killed in a crash on I-684 on Saturday. Maria C. Piscopo, age 69, who lived in Brewster, and her late husband, Joseph, took over Johnny's Pizzeria in Mount Vernon from Joseph's father who started the business 76 years ago. The three-vehicle crash occurred around 1 a.m. July 21. An initial investigation suggests that Joseph Piscopo Jr., 47, who was driving a 2001 GMC Denali, with Maria Piscopo in the passenger seat, was traveling northbound when he rear-ended a 2001 Dodge Dakota in …
