Landscaper In Hudson Valley Admits To Wage Theft, Faking Business Records A Hudson Valley landscaper has pleaded guility to failing to pay his workers the prevailing wage and then faking paperwork to cover up the crime. Putnam County District Attorney Robert Tendy announced Thursday, Aug. 26, that Joseph Fregosi, of Fregosi Landscaping Inc., pled guilty to perjury and his corporation pled guilty to falsifying business records and failure to pay prevailing wages. Know Anything? Reward Offered After ATVs Damage Putnam Golf Course A $1,000 reward has been offered by the Putnam County Sheriff's Office after two people drove ATVs on the Putnam County Golf Course.The golf course was able to capture video footage of the culprits riding red ATVs on the property. “We cannot allow individuals to misuse the golf course at the expense of the taxpayers," County Executive MaryEllen Odell said. Anyone with information is asked to call the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office at 845-225-4300 or the Carmel Police Department at 845-628-1300.
