Covid-19: Some NY Regions Expect Move To Third Of Four-Phase Reopening Process This Week The light at the end of the tunnel is inching closer for some regions of New York as the state continues slowly reopening the economy as it recovers from the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Central New York, the Finger Lakes, and the Southern Tier are all on track to potentially enter Phase 3 of their reopening plans as soon as Friday, June 12, provided they continue meeting the requirements set forth by the state.
