Westchester Man Nabbed Hiding In Shed Following Robbery, Police Say
A Hudson Valley man was captured hiding in a shed after allegedly robbing an area gas station.
Daniel Davis, age 39, of Mount Vernon, was arrested on Sunday, March 6, after allegedly robbing the Speedway Gas Station in the village of Mamaroneck.
The incident took place around 4:30 a.m. when officers responded to the gas station located at 731 Mamaroneck Ave., for a hold-up alarm, said Lt. Mark Gatta, of the Mamaroneck Police.

Man Attempts To Steal Items From Vehicle In Northern Westchester, Police Say
A man was arrested for allegedly attempting to steal items from a resident's vehicle in Northern Westchester.
Jesse Ogden, age 33, of Ossining, was arrested on Monday, Jan. 25, by Yorktown Police, after being caught inside a resident's vehicle stealing items, said the Yorktown Police.
Police responded to a home on Underhill Avenue, after the victim called 911 to report the incident around 11:45 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 24, police said.

25-Year-Old Nabbed For Northern Westchester Vehicle Larcenies Following Foot Pursuit
A 25-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly attempting to break into numerous vehicles and taking police on a foot pursuit when they attempted to stop him.
Michael S. O'Connor, of Carmel, was arrested on Tuesday, Dec. 15, by state police after they received a call about a suspicious person on Ridge Road, in Northern Westchester, said Trooper AJ Hicks.
Responding Troopers found and attempted to interview a male subject in the area. The subject, later identified as, O’Connor, fled on foot from the approaching troopers, Hicks said.

Northern Westchester Man Nabbed Stealing Jewelry From Walmart, Police Say
A Northern Westchester man was arrested for alleged shoplifting after he was located on a city bus.
James P. Lemons, 31, of Ossining, was arrested on Monday, Nov. 30, by New York State Police after they responded to a theft call around 8:30 a.m., at the Walmart on East Main Street, in Cortlandt, said Trooper AJ Hicks.
An investigation determined Lemon stole several pieces of jewelry before fleeing, Hicks said.
Troopers located Lemon on the public bus line and placed him into custody without incident.
