Body Of 20-Year-Old Recovered From Creek In Hudson Valley, Police Say
The body of a 20-year-old Hudson Valley man has been recovered by law enforcement from an area creek after a possible drowning was reported. The incident took place around 6:20 p.m., Tuesday, June 29, when the Dutchess County Sheriff's Office, New Hackensack Fire Department, and Town of Wappinger Ambulance to a possible drowning in the Wappinger Creek located behind the Wappingers Falls Trailer Park on New Hackensack Road. Boater Found Clinging To Side Of Vessel In Hudson River Rescued
A man was rescued from the Hudson River after he was heard yelling for help. The incident took place around 11:15 p.m., Wednesday, April 14, in Dutchess County. City of Beacon Police officers responded to Red Flynn Drive near the Sloop Club for a man reported to be yelling for help, said Det. Sgt. Jason Johnson. Officers located a capsized rowboat in the river approximately 20 yards from land with a man clinging to it, Johnson said. Boater Rescued By Good Samaritans From Capsized Sailboat During Storm In Hudson River
A 44-year-old man who was stranded on his capsized sailboat in the Hudson River during an intense thunderstorm was rescued by two Good Samaritans. The incident took place around 6 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 8, when the Dutchess County 911 Center received a report of a capsized sailboat on the Hudson River off the Town of Hyde Park shoreline, said Dutchess County Sheriff's Office Lt.
