ID Released For 47-Year-Old Struck, Killed By Train In Hudson Valley Officials have released the identity of a person hit and killed by an MTA train in the Hudson Valley. Rockland County resident Victor Reinoso, age 47 of Haverstraw, was killed around 9:55 p.m., Monday, July 24, east of Dutch Lane in Spring Valley, according to a spokesman with the Metropolitan Transporation Authority. Person Hit, Killed By Train In Hudson Valley A person was hit and killed by an MTA train in the Hudson Valley. The incident occurred in Rockland County around 9:55 p.m., Monday, July 24, east of Dutch Lane in Spring Valley, according to a spokesman with the Metropolitan Transporation Authority. The unidentified person was on the tracks at the time of the incident, the MTA said. The victim was transported to an area hospital where the person later died. The incident took place in Dutchess County around 6:30 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 1 near Dover Furnace Road in Dover Plains on Metro-North's Harlem Wassaic Branch. An individual who made contact with a train is deceased, MTA officials said. The MTA Police Department was notified and responded to conduct an investigation. Man Hit, Killed By Train In Greenwich, Officials Say A Connecticut man was killed after being hit by a train in Fairfield County. The incident place around 5:30 p.m., Wednesday, May 4 in the vicinity of the Cos Cob station. Killed was Hartford County resident Michael Haden Crouse, age 38, of Newington, said MTA Police Department spokesperson Aaron Donovan. Trains were delayed for about 50 minutes as investigators worked, officials said. MTA Police are investigating. Additional information was not available at this time.

Long Island residents Vincent Abolafia, and his girlfriend, Kaileigh Catalano, both age 15 and of Manorville in Suffolk County, were last seen at the Ronkonkoma train station on Thursday, Dec. 9 with the intention of boarding the 3:11 p.m. train to Manhattan, Suffolk County Police said. On Tuesday afternoon, Dec. 14, the Suffolk County PD said the two "were located, unharmed, in Manhattan today." The NYPD and MTA Police Department assisted in the investigation.

At about 1:30 p.m., the New Jersey transit train traveling to Spring Valley struck the car at the New Clarkstown Road crossing in Nanuet.
