Mahopac Man Driving With Suspended License Had Heroin, Sheriff Says A Mahopac man has been charged after police say he was found with heroin when driving with a suspended license. Members of the Putnam County Sheriff’s Department Narcotics Enforcement Unit (NEU) say they observed a driver commit a series of traffic infractions in the Town of Carmel on Tuesday, July 16. After initiating a traffic stop, an investigation revealed that the driver, identified as Michael Scauzillo, 51, of Mahopac, was allegedly driving with a suspended New York State license.
