Woman Charged With Prostitution After Undercover Operation At Hudson Valley Spa
A woman has been charged with prostitution after an undercover operation resulted in the closure of a spa in the Hudson Valley. The detail was conducted on Thursday, June 27, in Rockland County at Oceart Spa, located at 76 N. Route 9W in Haverstraw, after police say allegations of prostitution and unlicensed massages were reported by members of the community. The investigation resulted in the arrest of New York City resident Lan Xu, age 55, of Queens, who was charged with: Unauthorized practice of a profession (Class E felony), Prostitution (Class B misdemeanor).…

Woman Charged With Prostitution At Hudson Valley Business
A 49-year-old woman was arrested on prostitution charges on Tuesday by East Fishkill police at a business in the Taconic Plaza off Route 52 in Hopewell Junction.Police said they investigated illegal activity at the Unique Beauty Spa. East Fishkill detectives assisted by the Dutchess County Drug Task Force arrested Wai Yee Chu of New York City. Chu was arrested after providing a massage and offering to perform a sex act on an undercover officer. An employee at a controversial Hartsdale spa is facing a charge claiming that she was operating her business without a proper license. Members of the Greenburgh Street Crime Unit and Drug and Alcohol Task Force completed an investigation this week that led to the arrest of Xiaonu Jin, 54, who was charged with unauthorized practice of a profession while operating Forest Yin Spa on Central Park Avenue.
