Hudson Valley Top Cop Named President Of State Police Chief's Association
A popular Hudson Valley police chief has been named President of the New York State Association of Chiefs of Police. Joseph A. Sinagra of the Saugerties PD in Ulster County was sworn in during the annual conference in Albany. He succeeds Chief Kevin Sylvester of the Ossining PD. Sinagra previously served on both the Board of Governors and the executive board of the NYSACOP. A New York couple is making national news for reportedly seducing serial killers by mail over the course of more than two decades. Westchester County resident Barbara Dickstein, age 60, of Yonkers, and her late husband Richie reportedly targeted at least 100 violent criminals and high-profile murderers while enjoying a deeply dark letter-writing campaign that spanned more than 20 years. Cuomo Places Blame For NY Down-Ballot Democratic Losses On De Blasio
The war of words between Democratic rivals Gov. Andrew Cuomo and New York City Gov. Bill de Blasio has escalated following some disappointing results for Democrats in this week’s elections.
