A 23-year-old police officer who was employed at two different agencies in New York has been been charged with sexual assault against a child, rape and two other offenses.
New York State Police Latham Bureau of Criminal Investigation arrested Orange County resident John Kyle B. Dizon, age 23, of Cornwall, on Friday, June 9, and charged him with the following:
Predatory sexual assault against a child,
Criminal sexual act in the first degree,
Rape in the first degree,
Sexual abuse in the first degree.

New York Man Wins $1 Million Lottery Scratch-Off Prize
A Capital District man has claimed a $1 million lottery prize.
Albany County resident Robert Lawlor, of Latham, won a top prize from the New York Lottery’s "$1,000,000 Bonus Word Cashword" scratch-off game, the lottery announced Tuesday, Sept. 13.
Lawlor received his prize as a single, lump-sum payment of $651,000 after required withholdings, NY Lottery reported.
The winning ticket was purchased at Stewart’s Shops, which is located at 29 Wade Road Extension in Latham, the lottery said.

Albany County resident Meghan A. Marohn, age 42, of Delmar, hasn't been seen since Sunday, March 27 when she was on a trip in Western Massachusetts.
Her vehicle, a black 2017 Subaru Impreza, was found in Berkshire County in the town of Lee parked on Church Street at Longcope Park, a heavily wooded hiking area in south Lee, said the Massachusetts State Police.

Toys 'R' Us Will Shut Down 182 Stores, Including One In Westchester
Toys "R" Us, which filed for bankruptcy last fall, plans to close as many as 182 outlets, about one-fifth of its total number of stores across the country, according to a court filing late Tuesday.
A shift by customers to online shopping and increased competition led to the move, the Wayne, New Jersey-based company said.
