An unlicensed 17-year-old faces drunk driving charges after crashing a minivan into a playground during a carnival in Westchester, police said. The incident happened on Saturday, July 1 around 11:20 p.m., when officers assigned to the Fireman's Carnival in Mamaroneck at Harbor Island Park saw a minivan recklessly driving in the grassy area next to the event's grounds, according to Village of Mamaroneck Police Lt. 13-Year-Old Arrested In Connection With Shot Fired Outside High School In Hudson Valley
A 13-year-old boy has been arrested in connection with shots fired outside an area high school. The incident took place around 3:15 p.m., Monday, Nov. 15, in Dutchess County. That's when the City of Poughkeepsie Police received numerous 911 calls reporting shots fired in the area of Poughkeepsie High School. According to Det. Lt. Juvenile Used Racial Slurs After Remotely Breaking Into HS Class In Fairfield County
A juvenile is facing several charges after remotely breaking into the online classroom of a high school in the region, and then using racial slurs, according to police. The incident happened in Connecticut in the fall of 2020. Late on Friday, May 28, in Fairfield County, members of the Newtown Police Department charged the local youth for cybercrimes. Teen Girls Arrested After Greenwich High School Altercation
Two teen girls were arrested after getting into a fight with each other Friday afternoon at Greenwich High School, according to Greenwich Police. Linda Cortez, 18, of Pemberick Road, was charged with breach of peace, said Lt. John Slusarz. Police did not offer a reason for the physical fight. The other teen, considered a juvenile under state law, was also arrested and is being handled through the juvenile court system, Slusarz said. Cortez was arraigned and released without bail.
