Members of the Greenwich Police Organized Retail Criminal Activity Unit chased three suspects on foot down Greenwich Avenue on Wednesday, Jan. 27, after they were observed steeling high-value handbags from a local merchant, said Lt. Wrong-Way Driver, 31, Was Driving Without License In Greenwich, Police Say A Greenwich man was arrested after police nabbed him driving the wrong way down a street Sunday afternoon. Mark Traisman, 31, was pulled over around 1:10 p.m. on Greenwich Avenue by Greenwich police officers. Once stopped he handed the officer police a driver’s license with another person’s name, according to the arrest report,  It was later revealed he did not have a valid license, according to the arrest report.  Traisman was charged with driving without a license, criminal impersonation, forgery, and interfering with a police investigation.  He was also given a ticket for driving the w…

Two Arrested After Spotted Running From Closed Greenwich Gas Station Two men are behind bars after an alert police officer on patrol noticed them running from a closed gas station to a car parked on the side of the road. Tyquan Catala, 28, and Sheldon Todd, 28, both of the Bronx, were arrested around 3:30 a.m. Monday after the officer noticed the car parked near the closed Shell gas station on Post Road and then saw the two men running toward the vehicle, said Lt.
