Commuters are being warned that a month-long lane closure will soon affect traffic on a busy parkway in Westchester. Beginning on Monday, April 24, one lane of the Hutchinson River Parkway southbound between Exit 14 (State Route 127) in Harrison and Exit 13 (Mamaroneck Avenue) in Scarsdale will close, according to the New York State Department of Transportation. The closure is scheduled for weekdays beginning on Monday, April 24, and lasting until Thursday, May 25 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., officials said. The closure is to allow for construction work.

Traffic on a busy parkway in Westchester will soon be affected by a scheduled lane closure that will last months. Beginning on Monday, March 27, one lane along the northbound Hutchinson River Parkway between Exit 13 ((Mamaroneck Avenue) in Scarsdale and Exit 14 (Route 127) in Harrison will close on weekdays between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. to facilitate construction work, according to the New York State Department of Transportation. Part of the Cross County Parkway in Westchester County will soon be affected by lane closures. Starting on Monday, Jan. 9, and lasting through Thursday, Jan. 13, one lane of the Cross County Parkway will close in each direction in Mount Vernon at exit 9 between the northbound and southbound Hutchinson River Parkway, Department of Transportation officials said. Plan Ahead: Lane Closures To Affect Busy Roads In Westchester County
Lane closures are set to slow down traffic for commuters on a busy parkway in Westchester County. On Tuesday, Dec. 6, from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., northbound lanes of both the Hutchinson River Parkway and King Street in Rye Brook are scheduled to be closed for road work, according to the Rye Brook Police Department. The roadways will still be open to traffic, but only one lane will be open, police said. Work on the southbound lanes of both roadways was completed on Monday, Dec. 5. "Please plan ahead and leave extra time on your commute!" police said.
