Another Westchester Train Station Gets New Elevator, Accessibility Improvements A Metro-North station in Westchester has received a new elevator in addition to several other upgrades intended to improve access, parking, and amenities, officials announced.  In an announcement on Thursday, Jan. 11, MTA officials announced the opening of a second elevator at the Scarsdale Metro-North Train Station.  The new elevator is located in an enclosed tower that serves the Grand Central Station-bound platform.  Additionally, the overpass at the station was raised seven inches to give more vertical clearance for Metro-North trains. $5.1M, 5-Mile Route 22 Resurfacing Project Starts A multi-million dollar resurfacing project is underway on two of Westchester's busiest roadways. The New York State Department of Transportation announced that a $5.1 million repaving project is underway that will see the paving of five miles of Route 22 in Scarsdale and Yonkers Avenue in Yonkers.
