Three-Alarm Eastchester Seven-Story Blaze Forces Garth Road Closure Numerous Westchester and surrounding fire departments are battling a three-alarm fire in Eastchester that has closed a major roadway, according to Eastchester Police. The fire started around 11 a.m. Monday at the seven-story Garth Wood Cooperative complex at 235 Garth Road, Eastchester.  Eastchester police said Garth Road is closed to all vehicular traffic as crews battle the blaze. Two Indicted For Stealing More Than $500K Cash, Jewels In Westchester Two men were arraigned this week on charges from two incidents including the theft of more than $500,000 in cash and jewelry in Westchester. The burglary occurred at an Eastchester apartment in April, according to Westchester County District Attorney Anthony A. Scarpino, Jr.  Indicted by a Westchester County Grand Jury were Asan Sefuloski, 27, and Morris Santaniello, 54, both of the Bronx.  Both were charged with two counts of second-degree burglary and second-degree grand larceny, all Class C felonies.
