High School Student Killed, 2 Others Injured In Hudson Valley Crash  A high school student from the region was killed, another is in critical condition, and two other passengers were injured following an alleged high-speed crash in the region. The incident occurred in Dutchess County shortly before noon on Wednesday, May 15, on South Quaker Lane in Hyde Park. According to Capt. John Watterson of the Dutchess County Sheriff's Office, Hyde Park officers responded to reports of a crash on South Quaker Lane near Honeywell Lane. Woman Charged With Threatening School Shooting On Instagram A woman already facing time behind bars for her role in a drug trafficking ring operating out of the Hudson Valley also posted a threat on social media targeting a Dutchess County high school, according to an indictment unsealed this week.
