An officer from the Scarsdale Police Department on patrol at approximately 9:20 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 12 spotted a driver in the left lane on Post Road, driving with no headlights on. Motorist Charged With DWI After Car Slams Into Tree In Greenwich A Riverside man was busted for drunk driving after slamming his car into a tree, according to Greenwich Police. Richard Wright, 51, was arrested around 10:38 p.m. Thursday after police received a 911 and a hang-up in the area of Pilot Rock Lane. While on the way, officers noticed indications of an accident on Indian Head Road, a police report said. When officers found Wright he was slurring his speech and unsteady on his feet.
