Five high-achieving high school seniors from Northern Westchester now have the chance to compete for scholarships worth over $25 million in total, district officials announced. The five students, who attend Byram Hills High School in Armonk, were named semifinalists in the 2025 National Merit Scholarship Program, the Byram Hills Central School District announced on Thursday, Sept. 12. With schools ready to begin reopening, the New York State Department of Health has just laid out its guidance for mask-wearing and social distancing for students and staff. New York Gov.
