The thefts and burglaries took place across the town, said Greenwich Police Lt. John Slusarz. The vehicles stolen include a Ford Expedition from the Riverside section of town, Slusarz said. The incident took place around 3:40 p.m. Wednesday at the station on East Putnam Avenue when Raza Jafri, 53, of Stamford, had words with a customer and allegedly grabbed the customer by the shirt, police said. Jafri was charged with disorderly conduct and released. He is scheduled to appear in court on May 30.
